The MP1K media player, is a high quality, high reliability, low-cost interactive media player that plays digital video and/or audio media files from a standard micro-SD or USB memory device. The video output is digital HD (1920×1080) and the audio output is stereo (or mono) digital or analog. Analog SD (PAL or NTSC) video output is also available on a separate connector.
Continuous looping playback begins when power is applied. The MP1K plays most high-definition file types including MPEG-1, 2 and 4, H.264 and WMV9 from a regular high-speed micro-SD memory card or USB drive. It can be used as an audio-only player playing MP3 or WAV files. It has a 2-way serial RS485 communications port with unit addressing to work with an external control device such as a PC, show-controller, or PLC to play and control media files on command.
The MP1K has six direct push-button switch inputs that can trigger on contact-close to trigger the playing of a single media file or a number of files in a folder, they also have LED control.
When playing video files from a playlist there are no black frames, or a black “glitch” displayed when looping or changing files. The MP1K has a I/O connector to power its optional PIR motion sensor as well as the digital inputs with LED control.
