The MPDV-US1 USB-to-Serial Adapter lead enables the Sprite MPDV-S1 media player to be controlled from a Windows PC or laptop running any common Serial / RS232 communications software, including Sprite Serial Control
The MPDV-US1 uses the Prolific PL2303TA chip for full compatibility and driver support under Windows 10 and earlier, MacOS X and Linux operating systems.
Simply plug the MPDV-US1 into any USB port of a PC and the other end into the Sprite’s I/O port, launch the communications software and select the detected COM port and speed to match the Sprite’s default of 9600baud.
